Ryan was sitting in the Great Hall for breakfast. A grin was across his face, just like it always was. He was so happy to be back! It had been the most awesome summer of his life. He had finally gotten to find his actual biological parents and they were Muggle Born. He didn't care though, blood didn't matter to him. He looked down his table of Hufflepuff. The boy was placed here, and happily, on his first year here.
Even though the school made a great big fuss about the houses, Ryan didn't really. His goal? Make friends with anyone from any house. He had succeeded in almost every house but Slytherin. He wanted to get a Slytherin friend by the end of this year. He remembered that his parents didn't want him to come to school this year. Especially since they found out that he was a Muggle Born. His parents had told him that it wasn't safe anymore.
He didn't mind... what's life without a little danger? It was part of their culture as wizards; they went though periods like this. Times when Muggle Borns were mistreated. When would the time come when people would see past blood and house? They were just two things that separated people in the wizarding community. If Ryan wanted, he would of jumped tables to sit with one of his friends from another house, easily.
The fifteen year old knew that he'd get a lot of weird stares and all, but he didn't mind. Ryan got enough weird stares when he started turning his hair different colors with his emotions. Right now, he was in his original form. The boy had dirty blonde hair and greyish blue eyes and a mouth that was always grinning. Of all the things that he changed about him, his grin always remained in tact.
